Kimya Glasgow's mission is to be a creator of high quality products, primarily resort wear, swimwear, soft furnishings and accessories, with a desire to have positive impact on society, by developing thoughtful designs for its private clients and customers looking for timeless and unique statement pieces in elegant and natural fabrics, with modern and unexpected finishes and a Caribbean feel.
Our vision is to be a lifestyle brand with a unique Caribbean aesthetic, with modern global appeal, producing a range of products, inspired by the Caribbean cultures and influences.
Kimya Glasgow – The Brand
The relaxed elegance of sipping chilled rum punches, while admiring the lush, sparkling view through jalousied windows; Cottons, Linens, Crochet and Jute are often juxtaposed with the warm, luminescent glow of Dupioni Silks or even the sparkle of Lamé or sequins. Unique touches such as hand-painting and hand-beading or a soft lining, add a sense of luxury to handmade wearable-art pieces.
Contrasting the Caribbean elegance of a bygone age and a love of ancient world cultures, with a modern perspective and an air of wonderlust and careless nobility, the Kimya Glasgow aesthetic celebrates the rhythm of the human form in motion, influenced by the Caribbean aesthetic through its culture and art.
